LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading American healthcare manufacturing company dedicated to developing, manufacturing and distributing a diverse range of medical products and services. They are seeking a talented and dedicated Credit and Collections Specialist to join their team in Batesville, IN. 
As a Credit and Collections Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely collection of outstanding balances while maintaining positive relationships with valued customers. You will work collaboratively within their organization to drive results by effectively collecting and resolving past-due invoices and deductions. Your contributions will significantly impact on the achievement of their business and departmental goals. 
 
If you hold a degree in Accounting, Administration, Finance or a related field and possess at least 1 year of collection management experience, we encourage you to apply. Additionally, customer service orientation, excellent written communication skills and proficiency in English will be assets in this role. This is a hybrid position (2 days in-office/week) in Batesville, IN. 
 
Credit and Collections Specialist Responsibilities: 

  • Drive results by collecting and resolving past-due balances, striving to meet or exceed business goals 
  • Maintain accurate customer notes to monitor customer accounts efficiently 
  • Prepare and analyze customer reports, providing timely feedback to valued customers 
  • Ensure strict compliance with audit requirements by meticulously documenting account interactions and exceptions 
  • Identify, research and skillfully resolve invoice-related disputes 
  • Uphold business policies and processes with precision 
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to facilitate the prompt review and release of orders 
  • Initiate contact with customers to confirm vendor setup completion 
  • Provide comprehensive documentation and meticulously track status 
  • Conduct thorough collection follow-up activities 
  • Responsively address customer inquiries as directed 
  • Execute tasks with precision while adhering to detailed instructions 

Credit and Collections Specialist Requirements: 
  • A high school diploma is required, while a college degree is preferred 
  • 3+ years of credit/collection experience is desirable 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills 
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities 
  • A team-oriented mindset and the flexibility to adapt to varying workloads 
  • Strong proficiency in Excel 
  • Comfort working with multiple ERP systems
