Cloud Security Architect (DevSecOps)

Overview
A growing technology organization is seeking a Cloud Security Architect to design and implement security solutions across cloud platforms.
This role will partner closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure cloud systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices while enabling efficient development and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Define security standards, frameworks, and guardrails for cloud environments

• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows

• Evaluate and improve identity and access management practices

• Conduct threat modeling, architecture reviews, and risk assessments

• Implement controls for network security, encryption, and monitoring

• Support compliance and regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cloud security posture

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cloud security, security engineering, or related roles

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Strong knowledge of IAM, networking, and cloud security best practices

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)

• Experience working with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)

• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, or serverless technologies

• Familiarity with cloud security tooling (CSPM, SIEM, etc.)

• Relevant certifications (AWS Security, CISSP, CCSP, etc.)

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $150,000 – $185,000 annually
