LaSalle Network has partnered with a water systems treatment company in their search for a Boomi Engineer. As a Boomi Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing and implementing integration solutions using the Boomi platform. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for understanding business requirements and translating them into scalable and robust integration solutions. This is a remote position with limited travel.

Boomi Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and design solutions that align with business objectives
  • Develop and implement integration processes using Boomi AtomSphere, ensuring high performance, scalability and reliability
  • Configure and customize Boomi connectors, components and APIs to integrate various systems, applications and data sources
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
  • Conduct thorough testing of integration solutions to validate functionality, performance and data integrity
  • Document integration processes, configurations and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development
  • Stay updated on the latest Boomi features, enhancements and best practices to continuously improve integration capabilities
  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners as needed to facilitate seamless integration of third-party systems and services
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to strategic discussions related to system architecture, technology stack, and integration roadmap

Boomi Engineer Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in integration engineering, with a focus on Boomi integration platform
  • Proficiency in Boomi AtomSphere platform, including designing, developing and deploying integrations
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns, protocols and standards (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, etc.)
  • Experience working with various enterprise systems and applications (ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Boomi certifications (e.g., Boomi Developer, Boomi Architect) preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices is a plus
