Boomi Engineer Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and design solutions that align with business objectives
- Develop and implement integration processes using Boomi AtomSphere, ensuring high performance, scalability and reliability
- Configure and customize Boomi connectors, components and APIs to integrate various systems, applications and data sources
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
- Conduct thorough testing of integration solutions to validate functionality, performance and data integrity
- Document integration processes, configurations and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development
- Stay updated on the latest Boomi features, enhancements and best practices to continuously improve integration capabilities
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners as needed to facilitate seamless integration of third-party systems and services
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to strategic discussions related to system architecture, technology stack, and integration roadmap
Boomi Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in integration engineering, with a focus on Boomi integration platform
- Proficiency in Boomi AtomSphere platform, including designing, developing and deploying integrations
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, protocols and standards (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, etc.)
- Experience working with various enterprise systems and applications (ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Boomi certifications (e.g., Boomi Developer, Boomi Architect) preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices is a plus
