• Compensation: $90,000-$100,000 annually + eligibility to earn a 10% bonus

LaSalle Network is hiring for an Accounting Operations Analyst with a rapidly growing consumer products company. This newly created, high-visibility role is built for an accounting professional who likes to go beyond the numbers — digging into large data sets, finding root causes and turning accounting data into smarter processes. Reporting directly to the Assistant Controller, the Accounting Operations Analyst will partner with Accounting, Finance, Operations, Purchasing and Logistics teams to improve accounting operations and reporting.

What's the job?

• Analyze AR and AP data to identify trends, exceptions, discrepancies and process improvement opportunities

• Monitor AR aging, deductions, violations, returns, holdbacks, unapplied cash and open items

• Review AP aging, vendor balances, invoice activity, coding and payment trends

• Investigate WIP, GRIR, in-transit inventory, purchasing variances and valuation discrepancies

• Audit transactions for coding accuracy, recurring errors and control gaps

• Research root causes and collaborate with teams to implement solutions

• Build recurring reports, dashboards, KPIs and management summaries

• Recommend process improvements, controls and automation opportunities

• Support month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries and audits

What's needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field

• 3+ years of accounting, financial analysis, accounting operations or inventory accounting experience

• Strong AR and AP knowledge and an understanding of inventory accounting

• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS and large-data analysis

• Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• ERP experience, ideally SAP Business ByDesign or a similar platform, preferred

• Consumer products, manufacturing, distribution or high-volume accounting experience preferred
