LaSalle Network has partnered with an ad agency seeking a talented individual to join their team as an Account Director. This role requires a unique blend of project management skills and client relationship management expertise to effectively oversee digital projects from conception to completion while ensuring client satisfaction and project success. If you have worked not only as an individual contributor but collaboratively within the advertising industry, this may be a great fit for you! 

This is a direct hire opportunity in Chicago, operating on a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days per week in office. Our client is only considering current Chicago residents at this time. 

Account Director Responsibilities:  

  • Lead the planning, execution and delivery of digital projects, including website development, digital campaigns, social media initiatives and other digital marketing efforts 
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal teams 
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines and budgets to ensure successful project execution 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships 
  • Understand clients' business objectives, challenges and expectations to effectively translate them into actionable project requirements 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including creative, design, development and marketing teams, to ensure seamless project execution 

Account Director Requirements: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration or related field 
  • 2+ years experience in an account supervisor role within an advertising agency or marketing firm OR 1+ years experience as an account director
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, strategies and best practices 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and client-facing skills with the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in project management tools/software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira) and Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality
