LaSalle Network is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to support hiring for specialized roles within its investigative and law enforcement-focused functions.
This recruiter will manage full-cycle recruiting for positions requiring backgrounds in law enforcement, investigations, insurance fraud, intelligence, and related fields. The successful candidate will understand how to identify and engage specialized talent, including active and former law enforcement professionals, investigators, and candidates with experience working in complex investigative environments.
Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruiting for law enforcement, investigative, intelligence, and other specialized positions.

Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, technical qualifications, and candidate profiles.

Develop targeted sourcing strategies to identify active and passive candidates with relevant law enforcement and investigative backgrounds.

Source candidates through LinkedIn, professional associations, law enforcement networks, referrals, and other specialized channels.

Conduct candidate screens to assess experience, qualifications, career motivations, and alignment with NICB's mission.

Recruit professionals with backgrounds in areas such as insurance fraud, financial crime, vehicle and cargo theft, organized crime, intelligence, and complex investigations.

Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for current and anticipated hiring needs.

Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.

Provide hiring leaders with market insights, candidate feedback, and recommendations regarding recruiting strategies.

Ensure an organized, professional, and positive candidate experience.

Maintain accurate candidate and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.

Support additional recruiting initiatives and projects as needed.
Qualifications

3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably supporting law enforcement, investigations, security, intelligence, insurance, government, or other specialized professional roles.

Demonstrated success sourcing hard-to-find and passive candidates.

Experience recruiting candidates with law enforcement or investigative backgrounds strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of transferable skills associated with law enforcement, investigations, intelligence, and fraud-related careers.

Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and senior leaders.

Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.

Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, and other recruiting and sourcing tools.

Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple searches and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

High degree of professionalism and discretion when working with sensitive or confidential information.
Role Details:
Location: Oakbrook, IL (Remote – Candidates are required to be local for on-site events as needed)
Employment type: Contract, 4-5 months
Pay: $38-42/hr
