What's the Job?

Prepare and review complex corporate, partnership, S-corporation, consolidated, individual and trust tax returns

Lead tax research projects requiring advanced technical expertise

Manage client engagements while ensuring deadlines and budgets are consistently met

Oversee budgeting, billing and work-in-progress management
-
Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely follow-up
-
Identify tax planning opportunities and recommend additional services
-
Analyze IRS, state and local tax notices and draft responses
-
Supervise, mentor and develop staff accountants
-
Lead formal training initiatives and support team development
-
Participate in business development and community networking activities
-
Deliver exceptional client service aligned with THG's One Firm Way approach
What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
-
10+ years of tax and public accounting experience
-
CPA certification preferred
-
Advanced knowledge of corporate, partnership and individual taxation
-
Experience managing client relationships and engagement profitability
-
Strong leadership, delegation and coaching abilities
-
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
-
Outstanding organizational and project management skills
-
Proficiency with CCH Axcess or equivalent tax software
-
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
