We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a growing global consumer goods company, at their newest and largest facility in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
This is an opportunity for an accomplished manufacturing recruiter to take significant ownership of talent acquisition for a growing operation. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring talent across a variety of manufacturing and operations functions while partnering closely with site and business leadership.
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including significant in-house manufacturing recruiting experience. We are particularly interested in individuals who have supported the launch or expansion of a manufacturing facility, staffed a site from the ground up, or managed recruiting during periods of significant operational growth.

Key Responsibilities

Own full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing, operations, engineering, supply chain, maintenance, quality, and other site-based positions.

Partner closely with plant leadership, HR, and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.

Support the continued growth and staffing of the Orangeburg operation, building sustainable talent pipelines for both immediate and long-term hiring needs.

Develop creative sourcing strategies to identify talent in competitive manufacturing labor markets.

Proactively source passive candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, referrals, community partnerships, and other channels.

Manage recruiting across a range of levels, from skilled manufacturing and technical talent through professional and leadership positions.

Serve as a trusted talent advisor to hiring managers, providing insight into candidate availability, market conditions, compensation, and recruiting strategy.

Build relationships with local schools, technical colleges, universities, workforce organizations, and community partners to strengthen talent pipelines.

Help establish scalable recruiting processes and best practices that can support the facility as it continues to grow.

Track and analyze recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, pipeline activity, source effectiveness, and other key performance indicators.

Champion an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruiting and onboarding process.

Partner with the broader Talent Acquisition and HR teams on recruiting initiatives, employer branding, process improvements, and special projects.
Qualifications

7+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition/recruiting experience.

Significant in-house recruiting experience within a manufacturing environment is required.

Demonstrated success recruiting manufacturing, skilled trades, engineering, supply chain, operations, maintenance, quality, and/or plant leadership talent.

Experience supporting a new facility launch, greenfield operation, major plant expansion, or high-growth manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

Proven ability to develop talent pipelines and recruit effectively in competitive labor markets.

Experience managing multiple requisitions and hiring priorities while maintaining a high level of candidate and hiring-manager service.

Strong direct sourcing and passive candidate recruitment capabilities.

Ability to build credibility and effectively partner with plant leadership and hiring managers.

Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.

Data-driven mindset with experience utilizing recruiting metrics to identify opportunities and improve results.

Experience with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruiting technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
