LaSalle Network is partnering with a healthcare organization to hire a Patient Services / Insurance Verification Representative to join their fully remote team. This is a great opportunity for someone with healthcare call center, patient access, patient registration, scheduling, or healthcare customer service experience who enjoys helping patients and working in a fast-paced environment.

This position offers fully remote flexibility from day one, company-provided equipment, and the potential to transition into a permanent opportunity based on performance and business needs.


Patient Services / Insurance Verification Representative Responsibilities:

  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls from patients in a professional, compassionate, and efficient manner

  • Assist patients with registration, scheduling, appointment-related questions, and general inquiries

  • Make outbound calls to confirm appointments, obtain required documentation, and follow up on patient needs

  • Accurately verify patient information while following HIPAA and patient privacy requirements

  • Navigate multiple systems, including EMR/EHR and other healthcare platforms, while assisting patients

  • Document all patient interactions accurately and in real time

  • Manage secure messages and follow established response-time expectations

  • Transition between inbound calls, outbound calls, follow-up activities, messaging, and specialty queues based on business needs

  • Resolve patient concerns when possible and appropriately escalate issues when needed

  • Maintain established productivity, quality, attendance, and schedule-adherence expectations

  • Participate in coaching, training, and cross-training opportunities


Patient Services / Insurance Verification Representative Requirements

  • 1–2+ years of call center, customer service, patient access, patient registration, or healthcare-related experience

  • Healthcare call center or patient-facing experience strongly preferred

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy standards

  • Experience working with an EMR, EHR, CRM, or ticketing system preferred

  • Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills

  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a high-volume environment

  • Comfortable working in a metric-driven call center environment

  • Reliable attendance and ability to maintain consistent schedule adherence

  • Ability to maintain a private, secure workspace while working remotely
