The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and partnering with operations to drive business performance. What You'll Do

Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules.

Analyze general ledger activity and investigate variances across manufacturing, inventory, and operational accounts.

Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation.

Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements, management reporting packages, and key performance metrics.

Support inventory accounting, cycle count reconciliations, and manufacturing cost analysis.

Partner with operations and production teams to monitor inventory valuation, cost of goods sold, and manufacturing expenses.

Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditure tracking.

Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Support external audits and provide documentation for audit requests.

Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

2+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.

Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Experience supporting month-end close and preparing financial statements.

Knowledge of inventory accounting, cost accounting, or manufacturing accounting concepts preferred.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.

Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to communicate effectively across accounting, operations, and leadership teams.
