This is a market-based compensation role with equity ownership (time and performance vesting), potential to earn annual bonus target of 40%, and a full benefits package.
If you're a bilingual CFO with deep CPG or distribution roots and a track record of scaling finance functions across borders, this is a career-defining opportunity.
What You'll Do:
- Own the full global finance function from U.S. headquarters, with regular travel to a Latin America operations team (~30% of time)
- Lead IPO readiness end to end, with the goal of operating as a fully compliant U.S. public company within 12 months of hire
- Build and execute financial strategy, optimize capital structure, and serve as the primary liaison to investors and investment banking partners
- Deliver board-level analysis on revenue models, funding requirements, and capital allocation
- Oversee budgeting, monthly operating plans, cash forecasting, and consolidated financial reporting under both US GAAP and IFRS
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing international finance team spanning the U.S. and Latin America
- Partner cross-functionally on pricing strategy, margin analysis across product lines and channels, and ERP build-out for the North American business
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; MBA, MAC, or relevant postgraduate degree preferred
- 10+ years of executive financial leadership with U.S. public companies; prior CFO experience in high-growth, PE-backed, or VC-backed CPG or distribution businesses strongly preferred
- Experience leading or supporting an IPO process
- Active U.S. CPA license required
- Full working knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS experience preferred
- Deep expertise in corporate governance, SOX compliance, and investor relations
- Proven success managing multi-country finance operations; Latin America experience a strong plus
- Complete fluency in both English and Spanish required
Details:
- Chicago suburbs (with regular international travel to Latin America)
- $225-300k base salary, equity, potential to earn 40% annual bonus, and covered travel expenses
