LaSalle Network is partnering with a healthcare organization seeking an Interim Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Leader to oversee and elevate documentation practices across inpatient and outpatient settings. This contract Interim Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Leader will work at the intersection of strategy, operations and consulting, acting as a key liaison to Huron while leading internal CDI teams through meaningful change.
What’s the job?
- Oversee inpatient and outpatient CDI operations with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Lead CDI teams and drive best practices across clinical documentation workflows
- Collaborate with physicians, coding professionals and clinical leadership
- Act as the primary partner to Huron consultants, ensuring alignment and execution
- Track performance metrics and implement scalable, sustainable improvements
- Support organizational goals related to quality care and reimbursement integrity
What’s needed?
- Prior experience leading CDI programs in hospital environments
- Strong command of documentation standards, coding guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to lead through ambiguity and deliver measurable outcomes
