LaSalle Network is hiring a Benefits Verification Specialist for a temp assignment in Elk Grove Village, IL. Training will be fully onsite (8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. or 9 a.m.–6 p.m.), and once you’re up to speed, you’ll move into a hybrid schedule (three days onsite, two days remote). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented environment, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to grow in the healthcare industry.
Compensation: $19-21/hour

Benefits Verification Specialist Responsibilities:

Verify benefits for specialty drug requests through medical and pharmacy coverage

Submit prior authorization requests and follow up with insurance companies

Troubleshoot and resolve benefit rejections or claim denials

Perform monthly re-verifications for patient coverage

Partner with Accounts Receivable teams to resolve benefit-related issues

Utilize MS Office to maintain accurate records
Benefits Verification Specialist Requirements:

Experience in home infusion therapy or major medical required; healthcare/hospital setting preferred

Strong MS Office skills

Ability to adapt quickly and handle shifting priorities

Ideally 2 years of related experience
