Position: Medical Billing Coordinator
Duration: Direct Hire
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Fully Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Full Time)
Compensation: $20–$25/hr (based on experience)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Coordinator with full revenue cycle experience to support a growing behavioral health organization. This individual will be responsible for managing billing from charge entry through reimbursement and follow-up, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete revenue cycle process, including charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up
- Investigate and resolve claim denials and discrepancies to ensure timely reimbursement
- Communicate with insurance providers to verify coverage and clarify claim requirements
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding billing statements and balances in a professional and compassionate manner
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to maintain accurate patient and billing records
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in medical billing required; behavioral health billing experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Athena is a plus
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with patients and internal teams
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
