As a Software Engineer (MEAN/MERN), you will be at the forefront of developing and enhancing our client’s platform using the MEAN or MERN stack. You will collaborate with a talented team of engineers, designers and product managers to deliver scalable, reliable and user-friendly solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers.
Software Engineer (MEAN/MERN) Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain software applications for our client’s SaaS product using the MEAN (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js) or MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) stack
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans
- Build robust and scalable APIs to support various functionalities of the platform
- Implement front-end components using modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular or React) to create responsive and intuitive user interfaces
- Optimize performance and reliability of the application through code refactoring, performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to automate deployment processes and ensure continuous integration and delivery
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in web development to drive innovation and improve the platform's capabilities
Software Engineer (MEAN/MERN) Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in the MEAN or MERN stack with hands-on experience in MongoDB, Express.js, Angular or React and Node.js
- Strong understanding of web development concepts, including RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming and database design
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira or Trello
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
