Our client is seeking a hands-on infrastructure automation engineer to support Azure modernization and enterprise infrastructure initiatives. This person will independently write, troubleshoot, and maintain production Terraform code, build reusable modules, and automate Azure infrastructure deployments.
This position requires onsite participation approximately two to three days per week near ZIP code 75134.
Responsibilities
- Write, review, and troubleshoot production Terraform/HCL code.
- Build reusable Terraform modules and manage state, variables, providers, and dependencies.
- Provision and automate Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
- Support identity, virtualization, container, and infrastructure modernization projects.
- Translate technical requirements into executable work.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and document solutions.
- 6+ years of infrastructure, cloud, systems engineering, or related experience.
- Strong hands-on Terraform/HCL coding experience in production environments.
- Experience building reusable Terraform modules and managing Terraform state.
- Hands-on Microsoft Azure provisioning and automation experience.
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, Puppet, C#, or similar automation technologies.
- Broad enterprise infrastructure knowledge across Windows, identity, virtualization, servers, storage, and networking.
- Ability to work independently across multiple projects.
- Ability to work onsite near ZIP code 75134 approximately two to three days per week.

- Compensation: $60 – $70 per hour
