Senior Logistics Analyst Responsibilities:
- Analyze transportation and distribution data to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction within the supply chain
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement logistics strategies that improve efficiency and service levels
- Monitor transportation performance metrics and KPIs to ensure on-time delivery, minimize transit times, and mitigate risks
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software tools to streamline operations and enhance visibility
- Conduct route analysis, carrier selection, and rate negotiations to achieve cost-effective transportation solutions
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance logistics operations and reduce manual effort
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including procurement, warehouse operations, and customer service to support end-to-end supply chain objectives
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to continuously improve logistics practices
Senior Logistics Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles, preferably within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
- Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in logistics operations
