We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior IT Analyst with a specialized focus on SAP to join the dynamic IT team. As a Senior IT Analyst, you will play a critical role in optimizing and enhancing their SAP systems, ensuring their seamless integration with other business applications. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of SAP modules, strong analytical skills and a proven track record of successfully implementing and maintaining SAP solutions. This will be a long-term contract opportunity requiring hybrid onsite in downtown Chicago.
Senior IT Analyst Responsibilities:

Analyze, design and implement improvements to the existing SAP systems to enhance efficiency and functionality

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions

Provide expert-level support for SAP applications, troubleshooting issues and resolving technical challenges

Conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal performance and identify areas for improvement

Lead and participate in SAP implementation projects, including version upgrades, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations

Stay updated on the latest SAP releases and recommend upgrades to leverage new features and functionalities

Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate SAP systems with other enterprise applications

Develop and maintain interfaces between SAP and external systems, ensuring data integrity and seamless data flow

Implement and maintain SAP security protocols to safeguard sensitive business data

Ensure SAP systems adhere to industry standards and compliance requirements

Create and update comprehensive documentation for SAP configurations, processes and procedures

Conduct training sessions for end-users and IT staff to ensure effective utilization of SAP systems
Senior IT Analyst Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Minimum of 7 years of experience working with SAP systems in a senior analyst or similar role
