What’s the job?
Senior HR Generalist – Contract (6 Months) responsibilities include:
- Serving as a trusted HR partner to managers and employees
- Managing employee relations matters including investigations, performance management and corrective action for hourly and salaried staff
- Advising on HR policies, procedures and employment law compliance
- Partnering with leadership on workforce planning and day-to-day HR operations
- Supporting engagement, retention and HR process improvement initiatives
- Maintaining accurate employee records within HR systems
- 5+ years of HR Generalist experience
- Experience supporting both hourly and salaried populations
- Strong employee relations and compliance background
- Experience in staffing, professional services or fast-paced environments preferred
- Ability to work onsite 4 days per week in downtown Chicago
- Paylocity experience highly preferred
- Excellent communication, judgment and organizational skills
- Competitive $40/hour pay
