Compensation: $120,000-$150,000

Job Summary: 

As a Data Engineer, you will work closely with customers to understand their data needs, design effective solutions, and ensure smooth implementation for long-term success.
This role is ideal for a problem-solver with strong technical skills and a passion for making data work in real-world applications. If you excel at translating complex requirements into practical outcomes and thrive in collaborative, client-facing environments, you’ll fit right in.

Candidates with experience in data engineering, data analysis, data management, or similar fields are encouraged to apply—especially those interested in transitioning into a customer-facing role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather requirements from new and existing clients to define and design necessary data integration processes
  • Implement new data integrations, ensuring solutions are maintainable and adhere to established best practices
  • Plan and estimate data engineering work for projects and ensure deadlines are met
  • Collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders, including Project Managers, Solution Consultants, and Data Management teams, to ensure seamless integration and deployment
  • Provide excellent customer support and clear communication throughout each project
Requirements
  • Proficiency in SQL (required)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud data technologies, preferably Azure (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks)
  • Experience working directly with external clients or internal business units to gather requirements and provide technical support
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical and logical thinking skills, including troubleshooting and resolving data quality and integration issues
  • Ability to manage project tasks independently, take ownership of deliverables, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Extra Points If You Have
  • Experience with Microsoft SSIS, SQL Server, and Python
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role
  • Background in data engineering, data integration, data analysis, ERP consulting, or related fields
  • Procurement domain knowledge
