Our client is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full cycle accounts payable processes and will play a critical role in managing the company's financial transactions.
Senior Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Manage vendor relationships and address any payment inquiries
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Assist with month-end closing processes as needed
- Provide support for other finance-related tasks and projects as assigned
Senior Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Associates degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a senior-level role
- Strong understanding of full cycle accounts payable processes
- Experience with accounting software and MS Excel proficiency
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
