Our client is a leader in the design and construction industry and is looking to bring someone on to their team as a Quality and Fabrication Manager. This position will be owning quality systems, managing a team and maintaining product quality.
The ideal candidate has an industrial engineering or mechanical engineering background.
Quality and Fabrication Manager Responsibilities:
Quality System ownerships
Creates, implements, and validates quality processes
Works internally with engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing, and/or directly with customers and suppliers to support quality requirements and ensure compliance
Leading a team of 5-10 direct reports
Training team to ensure that the company is trained in necessary quality requirements
Quality and Fabrication Manager Requirements:
Experience with the creation, implementation and/or system maintenance of ISO 9001:2008/2015 quality management system.
7+ years of progressive experience in Quality or similar role
Proven background and training in formal, statistical problem-solving methodology (8-Step, DMAIC, Red-X, 8D, Lean-Six Sigma)
ASQ Certifications are a plus
Fabrication experience- welding specifically
