Product Manager Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the SVP, Director of Product & Innovation, and Product Team to continually refine and execute a clear product vision and strategy aligned with company goals and customer needs
- Develop, modify and maintain a strategic roadmap in harmony with the product vision and strategy
- Effectively communicate the vision, strategy, outcomes and roadmap to stakeholders
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends and competitive landscapes; collaborate with finance to establish a compelling business case
- Author Steering Meeting materials and lead Steering Meetings
- Facilitate the intake and prioritization of product initiatives and enhancements; contribute to the creation and review of the roadmap
- Author product initiatives/changes and obtain portfolio approval
- Collaborate with business owners to prioritize Epics, MVPs and features; author Epics, Features and identify user stories
- Validate business value with customers and collaborate with the steering committee to validate, invalidate or modify the thesis
- Work closely with the Technical Product Owner to align the backlog with business priorities
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver an optimal product and user experience
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product launches
- Analyze customer feedback and usage data to inform product decisions and identify areas for improvement
- Monitor product performance and metrics to ensure product success and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Collaborate with sales, operations and other stakeholders to support organizational readiness
Product Manager Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or in a similar product management role
- Technical background with knowledge of software development, data, web technologies and data development and solutions is a plus
- Experience in financial services, mortgage, personal lending/loan services or personal injury litigation industry is advantageous
- Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle
- Excellent organizational skills
- Exceptional communication and collaborative problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with product/project management tools (Jira, Smartsheet, Gantt charts, etc.) preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
