As a Payroll Analyst, you will bring your expertise in the payroll field to support the team’s in-depth payroll analysis and reporting. The Payroll Analyst will support both the accounting and human resources functions of this organization to ensure accurate payroll reporting and minimize discrepancies in employee compensation.
Payroll Analyst Responsibilities:
- Analyze payroll transactions accurately and timely
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with policies and regulations for both union and non-union employees
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to address payroll-related issues
- Prepare detailed payroll reports and analyses
- Stay up to date on relevant labor laws
Payroll Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proven experience as a Payroll Analyst or in a payroll processing role
- In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance
- Proven experience processing Union and Non-union payroll
- Proficient in payroll software, HRIS software and advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
