Ocean Export Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of ocean export shipments from origin to destination, including booking cargo, preparing documentation, and arranging transportation
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company policies
- Prepare and review export documentation such as bills of lading, certificates of origin, invoices, and packing lists
- Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely shipment delivery and resolve transit issues
- Monitor shipment status and provide proactive updates to clients and internal teams while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
Ocean Export Coordinator Requirements:
- 2+ years of logistics or freight forwarding experience required
- Strong understanding of ocean export processes, documentation, and compliance
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with clients, carriers, and internal teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
Pay and Benefits:
- $20–$21/hr depending on experience
