LaSalle Network is working with an in-home nursing care organization searching for a Level 2 Support Technician. This individual will perform contract, performance, relationship and risk management with IT vendors. Level 2 Support Technician Responsibilities:  

  • Install and maintain operating environments  
  • Monitor these operating environments and responding to issues proactively  
  • Respond effectively and speedily to any problems  
  • Maintain a professional demeanor with clients and colleagues  
  • Provide training and support to level 1 staff and document knowledge base articles  
  • Ensure operating environments stay safe and secure  
  • Update any software and hardware where necessary  
  • Document all reported malfunctions and actions taken in response  
  
Level 2 Support Technician Requirements: 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software  
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail  
  • Self-motivated and works well independently and as part of a team  
  • Knowledge of current networking protocols and standards 
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting connectivity issues 
  • Knowledge of network technologies and topologies, TCP/IP based routing and switching, firewalls, and IDS/IPS 
  • Working knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS and Azure  
  • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment 
  • Ticket or support software (such as ServiceNow) 
  • Linux and Windows-based servers, VMWare and associated hardware 
  • Office 365, SharePoint, Citrix Certifications such as a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Citrix Certified Professional – Virtualization (CCP-V), or Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect (AWS CSA)
