What’s the job?
- Drive monthly, and yearly close with accuracy and efficiency
- Prepare and analyze financial reports with leadership
- Oversee grant billing and track funder compliance
- Lead audit coordination and resolve findings
- Partner with program leaders on financial performance
- Manage and mentor a Senior Accountant
What’s needed?
- Deep accounting expertise and MEC ownership
- Experience in nonprofit/funder environments
- Leadership or mentorship experience (3–5 years ideal)
- Systems experience: Financial Edge highly preferred
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
