LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading healthcare organization based in the northern suburbs of Illinois. Our client is looking for an Interim Indirect Procurement Manager to join their headquarters. The right professional will have prior experience overseeing indirect procurement through supplier sourcing, competitive negotiations, and strategic vendor relations.
Indirect Procurement Manager Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for HR, Marketing, Professional Services, and more to optimize costs and improve supplier relationships.
Lead a team of procurement professionals to execute indirect procurement initiatives effectively and efficiently.
Collaborate with key stakeholders within the organization to understand their requirements and align procurement strategies with business objectives.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure high-quality services and cost savings.
Monitor market trends and best practices to stay up to date with industry developments and apply this knowledge to procurement activities.
Analyze data and KPIs to measure and report on procurement performance, cost savings, and other relevant metrics.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies in all procurement activities.
Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts and engage in benchmarking activities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement department.
Indirect Procurement Manager Requirements:
7+ years of procurement experience within indirect procurement and category management.
Bachelor’s degree in business, purchasing, supply chain management, or a related field is required.
ERP experience required.
