Full-Charge Bookkeeper Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions (the “numbers” side of Chicago)
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts
- Assist with financial reporting and budget tracking
- Reconcile accounts and support audits
- Handle payroll and other related financial tasks
Full-Charge Bookkeeper Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/related field is preferred
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
- Familiarity with nonprofit accounting principles and software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills (just like organizing a trip to Navy Pier)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams
