A partner of LaSalle is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join their dynamic team. The Demand Planner will play a critical role in ensuring optimal inventory levels, meeting customer demand, and supporting the overall success of their supply chain. This position is vital in maintaining the delicate balance between supply and demand, forecasting accurately, and proactively addressing challenges to maximize operational efficiency. 

Demand Planner Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and production, to gather insights and align on demand forecasts 

  • Optimize inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock and obsolescence 

  • Analyze inventory trends and implement strategies to address fluctuations in deman 

  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to understand promotions, product launches, and market dynamics that impact demand 

  • Foster strong communication channels with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate information exchange 

  • Utilize advanced analytics and statistical models to analyze demand patterns and identify opportunities for improvement 

  • Monitor and report key performance indicators related to demand planning and inventory management 

  • Identify potential risks to the supply chain, such as shortages or disruptions, and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks 

  • Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions that may impact demand 

Demand Planner Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field 

  • Proven experience as a Demand Planner or in a similar role within the CPG food industry 

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in using demand planning software and tools 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners 

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment 

  • Knowledge of best practices in supply chain management and a commitment to continuous improvement
