Credit and Collections Specialist Responsibilities:
- Evaluate creditworthiness of new and existing clients, utilizing your analytical skills to make informed decisions, and set appropriate credit limits.
- Implement effective collection strategies to ensure timely payment of outstanding balances, maintaining a balance between customer retention and fiscal responsibility.
- Cultivate positive relationships with clients, addressing inquiries and providing clear communication regarding billing and payment matters.
- Identify potential credit risks and proactively work to mitigate them, utilizing your expertise to minimize bad debt exposure.
- Generate regular reports on credit and collection activities, providing insights to management for strategic decision-making.
Credit and Collections Specialist Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Credit and Collections, preferably in Manufacturing
- Strong verbal and written skills
