Contract Talent Acquisition Recruiter

  • Location: Dunmore, PA

  • Pay Rate: $35-45 per hour

  • Duration: Approximately 9-Month Contract

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Overview
A growing manufacturing operation in Dunmore, PA is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Recruiter to support a significant hiring ramp during a period of business growth. This individual will take ownership of a high-volume, phased hiring effort targeting approximately 75 total headcount as the site scales toward a 24/7 operating schedule.

This is a fast-paced, high-volume role with a strong focus on hourly manufacturing talent. The ideal candidate will be comfortable recruiting across warehouse, sanitation, production, maintenance, and QA functions while managing a demanding pipeline in a food manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting to support a phased ramp toward approximately 75 headcount

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates through onboarding and start date

  • Recruit primarily for hourly and operational positions, including warehouse, sanitation, production, maintenance, and QA

  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers

  • Source candidates through a variety of channels, with an emphasis on high-volume, hourly pipelining

  • Build talent pipelines for hard-to-fill manufacturing and operational roles

  • Screen and evaluate candidates for fit, experience, and culture alignment

  • Coordinate and manage interviews

  • Lead candidate communication throughout the hiring process

  • Initiate background checks and drug screenings

  • Facilitate offer discussions and closing activities

  • Partner closely with HR and plant leadership

  • Support recruitment reporting and ATS documentation

  • Maintain compliance with employment regulations and company policies


Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience

  • Manufacturing recruiting experience strongly preferred

  • Experience recruiting high-volume hourly talent

  • Strong sourcing and pipelining capabilities

  • Experience using ATS and recruiting technologies

  • Ability to manage multiple recruiting priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced manufacturing environments


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Food manufacturing, CPG, industrial, or plant recruiting experience

  • Experience recruiting production, warehouse, sanitation, maintenance, and QA talent

  • Proven ability to hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up time

  • Adaptable and comfortable managing ambiguity in a scaling environment

  • Strong relationship-building and candidate-closing skills
