As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you’ll play a hands-on role in modern workplace transformation — minimizing on-prem dependencies, optimizing group management and improving visibility across Azure and Entra dashboards. This is a high-impact role where your decisions will directly influence how laptops, users and groups are managed moving forward.
What’s the job?
- Test, validate and enable Autopilot and Intune for laptop deployments
- Plan and execute Azure AD (Entra ID) join, moving away from Hybrid AD
- Establish Entra as the Group Source of Authority
- Configure compliance, security and billing controls across Azure and Entra portals
- Build dashboards and reporting for billing, usage and device visibility
- Support a Windows environment of ~300 laptops
- Strong experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer in enterprise environments
- Deep expertise with Entra ID, Azure AD and group management strategies
- Hands-on experience with Intune, Autopilot and Windows device management
- Ability to navigate and optimize Microsoft admin portals
- Cloud-first mindset with a passion for minimizing on-prem infrastructure
- ~$75/hour contract rate
