LaSalle Network is hiring a Cash Application Specialist to support a rapidly growing client in Lake Forest. This Cash Application Specialist role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys solving complex payment discrepancies. If you’re detail-driven, organized and ready to jump into a 6–9-month contract, this opportunity offers immediate impact and strong cross-functional exposure.
- Apply daily cash receipts in Oracle A/R system with speed and accuracy
- Review and resolve discrepancies including shortages, deductions and pricing issues
- Process offsets, transfers and account corrections
- Investigate cash application issues with Sales, IT and plant teams
- Reconcile remittance data and maintain accurate customer account records
- Partner with internal teams to resolve A/R inquiries efficiently
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
What’s Needed to Succeed as a Cash Application Specialist
- Associates degree or higher required
- 2–5 years of Accounts Receivable experience
- Experience with Oracle, PeopleSoft or similar A/R systems
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Sharp attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage high-volume workflows
- Strong communication and organizational skills
