Senior Accountant

LaSalle Network is hiring a Senior Accountant to join a high-growth Finance & Accounting team in Chicago. This Senior Accountant role is perfect for someone who wants true ownership. You will manage multiple entities, lead the close process and partner directly with leadership. What you’ll do (Senior Accountant):

• Own the full monthly close process across multiple entities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger activity including revenue, payroll and expenses

• Prepare accruals, deferrals and prepaid amortizations

• Oversee cash applications, bank reconciliations and a 13-week cash flow forecast

• Produce monthly financial statements with variance analysis

• Maintain schedules for fixed assets, intercompany and balance sheet accounts

• Manage and develop an offshore bookkeeper, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Partner cross-functionally with controllers and operating teams

What’s needed (Senior Accountant):

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

• 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong GAAP and general ledger knowledge

• Experience in multi-entity environments; property management a plus

• Advanced Excel and accounting systems proficiency

• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills

Key Details

• Compensation: $100,000–$120,000 annually, eligibility to earn 5–10% bonus
