Benefits Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage daily administration of benefits for 700+ employees across corporate, hourly, and union groups
- Lead open enrollment, 401(k) audits, COBRA, and life events
- Partner with vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators to ensure seamless program delivery
- Oversee leave of absence requests and partner with managers to communicate outcomes
- Develop wellness initiatives, including interactive employee Q&A sessions
- Ensure compliance with regulations and approve accommodations
- Supervise and mentor a direct report (Employee Leave Analyst)
- Maintain accurate data in HRIS and vendor systems
- 5+ years of progressive benefits experience with open enrollment ownership
- Deep knowledge of health, retirement, COBRA, and LOA administration
- Skilled in vendor management and employee relations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Leadership or supervisory experience a plus
