This Accounts Receivable Specialist will work closely with the Controller and the Accounting Manager to work on accounts receivable tasks. The ideal candidate for this Accounts Receivable Specialist position is someone who brings a positive attitude and strong business acumen to effectively deal with new tasks and challenges.
Accounts Receivable Specialist Responsibilities:
- Work with clients to resolve issues with accounts
- Collect on past due accounts
- Post payments to invoices and the correct accounts
- Process and post daily transactions to customer accounts
- Generate and send out accurate and timely invoices to customers
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collection
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer inquiries and resolve issues
- Record and maintain accurate documentation of all transactions
- Prepare and analyze aging reports
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable
- Support the finance team with additional tasks and projects as needed
Accounts Receivable Specialist Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable
- Passion, attention to detail, and team-player
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience working with Excel is preferred
