As they continue to grow, they are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team.
They are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to manage and oversee their financial transactions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements and ensuring timely and accurate payments. This position offers the unique opportunity to work remotely from Denver while contributing to the financial success of an exclusive healthcare facility in Aspen.
Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:

Receive, review and process invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies

Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely payment and manage the payment approval process

Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records of financial transactions

Assist in the preparation of expense reports and ensure compliance with internal policies

Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment-related issues

Maintain organized and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions

Support month-end closing activities and contribute to the preparation of financial reports
Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in the healthcare or hospitality industry

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders

Ability to work independently and adapt to a remote work environment
