In the words of our CEO, at LaSalle, we are working hard to teach and develop our employees, but their foundation of hard work started years ago with the people who raised them. Thank you to the Mothers and Fathers who raised such incredible kids! Here’s some of our favorite advice from the strong women in our lives:
Don’t worry about the housework and little things. Work hard and then spend quality time making memories with your children.
Stay positive. Be a leader and not a follower. Work hard. Show your potential.
Because my mom worked, she showed me that you could raise a family, have a career and be there for your kid’s sporting events and concerts. It’s hard work but very doable. She also taught me independence and instilled a strong work ethic in me.
Sometimes you have to practice good selfishness.
Always try your best!
Nothing good happens after midnight.
Treat people the way you want to be treated.
The best advice my mom gave me is the importance and value of hard work.
Lead, follow or get out of the way. It doesn’t matter which, but don’t be the person that can’t decide.
Lead by example, be kind to others and always give your best. Put family first…and don’t forget to eat dessert 🙂
Follow the dreams that make you happy, then all those around you will be inspired to do the same.
It’s okay to have a difference of opinion with friends, because if they’re really your friends it won’t matter.
My mom has given me a lot of advice over the years, but what’s been even more impactful is what she has shown me through the way she lives her life. She gives 110% to everything she does, so it taught me to do the same and believe in myself!
