Overview:
We’re partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to hire an Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, customer billing, and general accounting. This is a hands-on role best suited for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working cross-functionally, and able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll do:
1. Accounts Payable

Prepare and organize documents and supporting information for processing

Verify invoice details and schedule disbursements
-
Obtain approvals for invoice payments (individual and batch)
-
Support vendor relationships and respond to payment inquiries
2. Accounts Receivable / Billing
-
Verify transaction and contract details
-
Calculate charges, refunds, and discounts accurately
-
Prepare and send customer invoices via ERP system and email
-
Monitor and follow up on past-due balances; communicate with customer AP contacts
-
Manage aging and support collections efforts as needed
3. General Accounting
-
Assist with basic financial reporting by collecting and summarizing information

Post transactions and help maintain accurate accounting records

Reconcile vendor/customer statements and resolve discrepancies or payment delays

Maintain organized electronic and physical filing
-
Follow internal controls and support process improvements
What we’re looking for:
-
Prior experience with customer billing (hands-on invoicing)
-
Working knowledge of AP and AR processes
-
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-
Solid communication skills and customer service mindset
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard office tools
-
Experience using an ERP system is strongly preferred
