LaSalle Network is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a rapidly growing Saas organization seeking a Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis. This executive-level role will serve as a strategic partner to the CFO and Executive Leadership Team, helping shape the company's financial strategy, operational performance, and long-term growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic finance leadership, operational insight, and executive presence. This individual will lead all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis while building a scalable FP&A function capable of supporting continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
FP&A Leadership & Business Partnership

Lead and develop the FP&A function, establishing scalable processes, reporting frameworks, and performance expectations.

Build and mentor a high-performing finance team focused on analytical rigor, business partnership, and continuous improvement.

Serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO and executive leadership team on financial performance, resource allocation, risks, and opportunities.

Partner closely with business leaders to translate strategic initiatives into measurable financial plans and operational objectives.
Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

Own the company's annual budgeting process, long-range planning activities, and monthly and quarterly forecast cycles.

Develop sophisticated financial models that provide visibility into revenue, profitability, operating expenses, cash flow, and key business drivers.

Drive variance analysis and performance reviews, providing actionable recommendations to improve results.

Establish and enhance forecasting methodologies that improve decision-making and accountability across the organization.
Strategic Finance & Corporate Initiatives

Support enterprise-wide strategic planning and major business initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis.

Evaluate investments, organizational changes, and resource allocation decisions to maximize business performance.

Partner with leadership teams to improve financial visibility and establish key performance indicators across the organization.
Mergers & Acquisitions

Support acquisition analysis, due diligence, financial modeling, and integration activities.

Monitor post-acquisition performance, track synergies, and measure results against investment expectations.

Develop reporting and performance frameworks for strategic investments and business expansion initiatives.
Workforce & Compensation Planning

Lead financial planning efforts related to headcount growth, workforce investments, and compensation programs.

Partner closely with HR and business leaders to ensure hiring plans and organizational investments align with financial objectives.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline required. MBA, CPA, or other advanced credentials preferred.

10+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance experience, including leadership of high-performing teams.

Proven experience leading enterprise-wide budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and management reporting processes.

Strong executive presence with experience partnering directly with C-suite leaders.

Exceptional financial modeling, business analysis, and strategic planning capabilities.

Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, integration efforts, and strategic growth initiatives preferred.

Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning tools. Experience with ERP, CRM, and business intelligence platforms is highly desirable.

Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
