Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer, Vulnerability Management (Remote)
Overview
A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, Vulnerability Management (Remote) to support and enhance enterprise vulnerability management, exposure management, security engineering, and automation initiatives.
This role will serve as a senior technical contributor responsible for improving security capabilities, reducing organizational risk, and driving engineering-focused security initiatives across cloud, infrastructure, application, and endpoint environments.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and improve enterprise vulnerability and exposure management programs

Engineer and optimize security technologies and workflows

Develop automation solutions using APIs, scripting, and integrations

Build and maintain executive dashboards and security reporting

Partner with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security Operations, and Development teams

Conduct security assessments across applications, systems, and cloud environments
-
Support DevSecOps and secure development initiatives
-
Evaluate and implement new security technologies

Provide technical leadership and guidance across security engineering efforts
Required Qualifications
-
8+ years of cybersecurity experience
-
5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience
-
Deep experience with vulnerability management or exposure management programs

Experience with vulnerability platforms such as:

Tenable

Qualys
-
Rapid7
-
CrowdStrike Exposure Management

Strong scripting or automation background

Experience with APIs and reporting automation

Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $135,000-$145,000 per yr.
