Global Project Manager – New Product Development
LaSalle Network is hiring a Global Project Manager for a year-long project supporting the development and launch of new products with one of our largest clients. This position is based in Rosemont, IL, with a hybrid schedule.

The Global Project Manager will oversee complex product-development initiatives involving physical products and connected technology. This person will keep global teams, external partners, timelines, risks and deliverables aligned from development through launch.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the execution of global new product development projects

  • Build and maintain project schedules, charters, RACI documents, RAID logs and milestone trackers

  • Coordinate teams across product management, engineering, software, supply chain, quality, regulatory, operations and manufacturing

  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, dependencies and launch-readiness requirements

  • Lead project meetings, milestone reviews and executive status updates

  • Track hardware, firmware, mobile application, validation, tooling and production-readiness activities

  • Coordinate deliverables with OEM/ODM manufacturers and external partners

  • Identify project risks and escalate issues with clear recommendations and business impact


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or a related field

  • 5+ years of project management or cross-functional product-development experience

  • Experience managing hardware product-development projects (experience with both hardware and software preferred) 

  • Experience managing complex schedules, budgets, dependencies and project risks

  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder-management skills

  • Proficiency with Jira and Microsoft products

  • Experience working across multiple teams and time zones

  • Ability to influence and drive accountability without direct authority


Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, Scrum Master or another project-management certification

  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies

  • Experience with connected products involving hardware, firmware, mobile applications, cloud or data platforms

  • Consumer products, home appliances or water-filtration experience

  • Experience with Arena PLM or Confluence
