Senior Finance Manager, Data & Analytics
Location: Flexible / Hybrid
Compensation: $130,000–$180,000 base salary, eligibility to earn discretionary bonus
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Finance Manager, Data & Analytics to lead finance transformation initiatives through data, analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence. This role will serve as a key partner to Finance leadership, driving projects that enhance reporting capabilities, improve decision-making, streamline processes, and enable scalable data solutions across a global organization.
The ideal candidate combines strong finance knowledge with expertise in data and analytics, excels at leading cross-functional projects, and has the communication skills to influence stakeholders across Finance, IT, and the business.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver finance data and analytics initiatives from strategy through implementation, ensuring projects are completed on time and aligned with business objectives.

Partner with Finance leaders to identify opportunities to improve reporting, analytics, forecasting, and decision support through modern data solutions.

Drive process optimization and automation initiatives that improve efficiency, data quality, and standardization across finance functions.

Identify and implement AI-enabled solutions that enhance financial processes, reporting, and analytical capabilities.

Collaborate with Finance, IT, Data, and external partners to develop scalable reporting and analytics platforms.

Translate business requirements into technical solutions while serving as the primary liaison between finance stakeholders and technical teams.

Establish governance, documentation, and best practices for finance data, reporting, and analytics.

Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting that provide actionable business insights.

Lead cross-functional project teams, manage project plans, risks, and stakeholder communications.

Champion change management efforts by driving user adoption, training, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in finance data, analytics, finance transformation, business intelligence, or related functions.

Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects from planning through execution.

Strong understanding of financial reporting, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial processes.

Experience implementing reporting, analytics, automation, or AI solutions within finance organizations.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable data and technology solutions.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred
-
Experience within a global manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) organization.

Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems.

Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

Knowledge of data warehousing, SQL, cloud analytics platforms, or finance data architecture.

Experience with AI, machine learning, or generative AI applications in finance.

PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or similar project management certification is a plus.
