Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) with a background in Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) to support a large healthcare system. This role focuses on improving the accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation to ensure appropriate reimbursement and quality of patient care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Review inpatient medical records to ensure accurate and complete clinical documentation

Evaluate and validate DRG assignments for accuracy and compliance

Identify documentation gaps and initiate appropriate provider queries

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to improve documentation quality

Ensure alignment with regulatory guidelines and organizational standards

Work independently in a fully remote environment while meeting productivity and quality benchmarks
Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
-
Proven experience in Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI)

Recent inpatient CDI experience in an acute care setting
Preferred Qualifications
-
2–5 years of CDI experience
-
Experience with CDE-1 system
-
Familiarity with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system

Location: Remote

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm) some flexibility may be available

Pay: $40-45 per hour (based on experience)

Employment Type: 6-month contract (potential for hire)
