LaSalle Network has partnered with a benefits consulting firm in its search for an Account Manager. The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, partnering with brokers, producers, and internal teams to deliver exceptional service and support.
This role is responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating renewals, analyzing coverage options, negotiating with carriers, and ensuring the successful execution of employee benefits and insurance programs.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for client accounts, delivering exceptional service and support.

Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and consultative guidance.

Manage employee benefits and insurance programs, including renewals, coverage changes, and ongoing account servicing.

Lead and support open enrollment meetings, client presentations, and renewal discussions.

Analyze client risks, coverage structures, and program needs, providing recommendations and solutions.

Prepare submissions, proposals, coverage comparisons, and renewal materials for clients and carriers.

Negotiate premiums, coverage terms, and program options with insurance carriers on behalf of clients.

Collaborate with brokers, producers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.

Maintain accurate client records, policy information, and account documentation within agency management systems.

Stay current on insurance products, carrier offerings, industry trends, and regulatory changes.

Manage multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with internal processes, service standards, and deadlines.
Qualifications

Active Life & Health Insurance Producer License (or ability to obtain upon hire).

2+ years of account management, account executive, or client service experience.

Ability to conduct client presentations and open enrollment meetings.

Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Experience with agency management systems preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field preferred.

Strong knowledge of insurance coverages, benefits programs, and marketplace trends is a huge plus!

Must have your own vehicle and be able to travel throughout the Chicagoland area multiple times a week.
This position pays a base salary of $60k-$70k, depending on experience, is eligible for commission, and offers a full suite of benefits, including medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401 (k), and PTO. If this position sounds like a fit for you, please apply today!
