LaSalle Network is hiring a Configurations Technician Level 1 to join a fast-paced technology operations team in Vernon Hills, IL. This Configurations Technician Level 1 opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work with computers and technology while staying active in a warehouse-style environment.
As a Configurations Technician Level 1, you’ll configure and prepare computers, printers and other technology equipment before they are shipped to customers. This role offers excellent exposure to hardware configuration and troubleshooting, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to build technical experience in IT.
Configurations Technician Level 1 Responsibilities

Configure hardware and software according to customer specifications

Install operating systems and required applications on devices

Test systems to ensure proper functionality and quality standards

Unbox equipment for configuration and repackage devices for shipment

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues

Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks

Communicate order issues with the Help Desk or Team Lead

Follow safety procedures and warehouse guidelines at all times
What’s Needed?

High school diploma or GED required

A+ Certification or equivalent technical training preferred

Mechanical aptitude and ability to assemble/disassemble computer equipment

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
-
Ability to quickly learn new technology

Comfortable standing, walking and lifting throughout an 8-hour shift

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally

Warehouse or production environment experience is a plus
