Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
- Support month-end close activities for two plant locations and corporate departments, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Partner with plant operations and corporate teams to track expenses, investigate variances, and support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditure tracking for manufacturing facilities
- Assist with inventory accounting, cost analysis, and inventory reconciliations across plant locations
- Support internal and external audit requests by preparing PBC schedules and ensuring supporting documentation tied to financial statements
- Help improve accounting processes and ERP system workflows to increase reporting efficiency and accuracy
Staff Accountant Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 to 5 years of accounting experience including month-end close support, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
- ERP experience such as SAP, NetSuite, or other mid to large ERPs
- Experience in a distribution company preferred but not required
- Experience using PowerBI and/or OneStream preferred but not required

- Compensation: $70,000-80,000 annual base salary + eligibility to earn a 10% bonus
