LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of a growing registered investment advisory firm located in downtown Nashville, seeking an Alternative Investment Operations Associate due to growth. This firm advises high-net-worth individuals and families and offers access to a wide range of traditional and alternative investment strategies, including private funds. As their platform continues to expand, we are seeking an Alternative Investment Operations Associate to support the operational and administrative needs of our alternatives program.

The Alternative Investment Operations Associate is responsible for supporting the full lifecycle of alternative investments, including private equity, private credit, real estate, and other private funds. This role partners closely with advisors, client services, custodians, and fund managers to ensure accurate execution, documentation, tracking, and reporting of alternative investments. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and experienced working with private fund operations in an RIA or wealth management environment.

Alternative Investment Operations Associate Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and process private fund subscription documents, including review for accuracy and completeness
  • Manage investor onboarding with fund managers, administrators, and custodians
  • Track capital commitments, capital calls, and distributions across client accounts
  • Coordinate funding of capital calls and receipt of distributions with custodians and internal teams
  • Maintain detailed records of client holdings, commitments, and cash activity
  • Track fund valuations, NAV updates, and performance data
  • Reconcile statements from custodians and fund administrators
  • Support quarterly and annual client reporting related to alternative investments
  • Assist with tax reporting coordination, including K-1 tracking and delivery
  • Serve as a point of contact with fund managers, administrators, and custodial platforms
  • Resolve operational issues and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with advisors and client service teams to support client inquiries related to alternatives
  • Ensure all alternative investment activity complies with firm policies and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain organized and accurate documentation in CRM, portfolio accounting, and document management systems
Alternative Investment Operations Associate Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree required
  • 2–5+ years of experience in alternative investment operations, fund administration, or investment operations
  • Experience at an RIA, wealth advisory firm, family office, or fund administrator strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of private fund structures (LP/GP, capital accounts, capital calls, distributions)
  • Experience processing subscription documents and coordinating with custodians
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with portfolio accounting and CRM systems
  • Professional, service-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
This position is based in Nashville, TN and can pay between $90,000-120,000 annually. This position offers full comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision.
