Job Description
As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the planning, deployment and management of Azure cloud solutions for clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, security and reliability of cloud infrastructure. Your expertise in Azure services and your ability to design and optimize cloud environments will be essential to the success of our client’s projects.


Azure Cloud Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Azure Cloud Design: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design scalable and secure Azure cloud solutions tailored to their specific requirements
  • Infrastructure Deployment: Configure, deploy and maintain Azure virtual networks, virtual machines and other cloud resources to meet project needs
  • Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts and templates using tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and PowerShell to streamline deployment and management processes
  • Security: Implement robust security practices, including identity and access management, encryption and network security groups, to ensure the protection of cloud assets and data
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize Azure cloud resources to ensure cost-efficiency, performance and reliability
  • Disaster Recovery and Backup: Design and maintain disaster recovery and backup solutions to safeguard critical data and applications
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Set up monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue resolution. Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure and service-related problems
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of Azure environments, configurations and procedures
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and services within the Azure cloud environment
  • Compliance: Ensure that Azure cloud environments align with industry best practices and compliance standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or other relevant regulations

Azure Cloud Engineer Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent, are a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud engineering, with a deep understanding of Azure services, Azure AD and Azure governance
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) and automation
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and experience implementing security measures in Azure
  • Experience with cloud monitoring and management tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
